What is Diiclae?
Diiclae the Memphis, Tennessee based startup is a platform of decentralized, immutable, transparent and secure blockchain-based registry for the manufacturing and distribution of rare limited edition artworks. The goal of the company is to give leverage back to artist by enabling them to monetize their creative ability in more ways than most traditional platforms.
Why Blockchain?
Diiclae is built on top of a new type of blockchain that issues NFTs (Non-Fungible Token), smart contracts, and crypto currency. This means that each artwork will be represented by its own token which can be freely traded on the exchange. Crypto-art is a form of artwork that uses cryptography to secure ownership, production and trade. For example, the artwork could have been produced by an artist using traditional media, but then given a digital signature which produces binary code (a string of 0s and 1s) as its unique identifier. The artwork can then be encoded on the blockchain using NFTs. Each unique artwork on the blockchain would have a unique identifier. Diiclae allows Artist to receive royalties for the resell of their artwork.
Art’s Value
Art is a subjective thing. It’s hard to understand the value of art and how much it costs. This is where Diiclae comes in. Diiclae is the Wall Street of Art where you can buy and sell art with ease.
The algorithm in Diiclae accurately evaluates art using machine learning, and trade/sell history from its blockchain, which means that it can be used for any form of creation; painting, digital art, etc.
